About Me

My name is Jed Levron and I have owned this site for 8 years. My sports experience starts back playing at school for PE and manager for South Terrebonne's Baseball team for 2 seasons at a time when the school had its best teams ever. After hurting my ankle I then learned website design and became South Terrebonne's First ever Sports webmaster.

I then started Houma Sports Site shortly after graduating in 1999. This site helped me become the webmaster for the now defunct Houma Bayou Bucks. After the first year I also became the game day photographer. In late 2002 My former baseball Coach at South Terrebonne Gus Brown III started a new Pro baseball team with his dad The Houma Hawks. We got to go the MLB Winter League baseball meetings in Nashville. I learned a lot in preparation for the season helping with game day operations, promotions, media work, and other activities as needed. Unfortunately the Team had to leave after the first weekend. of the season and I moved on.

I started coaching Baseball as an assistant for 2 teams. 1 TPR based in Montegut and 1 15-16 year old based winter league team. My first head coaching duties came in late 2005 as I coached a recreation boys basketball team. I then coached a recreation softball, volleyball and girls basketball for 1 season each at the 9-12 year old age groups.

Here we are today looking to create more sports opportunities for youth. Tiga Assets LLC was created in Late March 2008. Why Tiga? Ti: Stands for Tigers of LSU and ga: stands for Gators of South Terrebonne.
